October 2009- Into the Bleu wins the Gordon Walton Memorial Award at Gallery 53 in Meriden, CT.

May 31, 2009-A Record Day.
After waiting all winter to hang my art work at the Allen David Gallery in Maine I sold a painting within in hours of
walking through the doors.
Above is a picture sent by the new owners of the painting, Monhegan Boats, hanging in their home.

Wisconsin Maritime Museum in

Did anyone else besides me notice that I am having a
Seascape show in the Midwest and a
Landscape show on the Coast
and that they both have the name "Between" in them?
It's enough to make me ponder
Maybe as a nation we are all "in between",
between prosperity and poverty
between success and failure
between the 20th and 21st century
between hope and fear

If we're always between something do we ever get to where we're going?
Perhaps that is just the problem.

Enough philosophy?
Time for a blog?
OK maybe not.
The art should be worth a look anyway.
