Motif #1
As an artist I am always trying to find new scenes.
As I was working on this painting one of my good friends said, "Motif #1".
I am constantly surprised that I always seem to be the last to know.
Turns out this scene in Rockport is one of the most painted scenes in the world.
I felt intimidated after hearing that.
I gave the painting to my friend's husband who grew up in the area.
