Earthquake series...painted yesterday after the 6.4 earthquake woke me here in Puerto Rico...the skies here are amazing...they help one forget their troubles...between the skies and painting I felt much better by the end of the day- plus there were no new tremors...power restored here today. Yes, the paintings are a little dark and dramatic- which reflects my mood at the time-it was after all, the first time that I’ve ever felt an earthquake- very disconcerting...painted quickly with staccato stokes...
